Failed to work in a critical situation.

Elderly person fell. Pushed the button. No response for over 1hour. Home care arrived after that time and contacted elderly persons daughter. Able to move her to a chair. Asked why she didnt push the button she said she did. I pushed the button and it activated. No one contacted us after 20 minutes. Cancelled urgent request. Outcome could have been much more serious. Have taken other action. New service provider and cancellation of alarm force done immediately.

Service never showed

We were to have service between 5-9, its now after 9pm. Never showed, never texted. So problem still exists. So pissed stayed home all night, and guy never showed or called!!!

Unbelievably horrible service

Too much to write in this little box. To feed for 6 months but arent monitoring anything. Called on 4 separate occasions to get a resolution. Got three different ones but nothing happened. Finally scheduled for reinstall and person was sent to wrong address And I was asked to wait yet again after 6 months of patience. I literally wasted my entire day for a service that yet I havent received from these people. If you can just go to another company because whatever happened with this one wasnt good and isnt worth the stress and headache!!!!

Alarm Force had been the most service ever I camera's broke for over 3 months before they sent anyone out to repair them still charged me for the service and the customer service was the most ignorant people I have ever spoken too. I would not ever refer this Alarm System to anyone if so Please Run as fast as you can You nor your loved will be protected and they do not care......!!!!!???? I really do not have a 100 words to say about this company other then what I have already said not not trust them to protect you and please watch your bills they will defraud you if you are not care ful . They are more pain then it is worth dealing with this company By the way read the complaints that this company has though the BBB it is Scary.... And also the equipment that does not work and they will charge to replace if you are careful.

Have several properties, they got all the accounts mixed up and have not tried to sort it out. Every time they do they assign a new person. So far I have counted 10 different people. They also send the wrong address with the wrong account numbers, impossible t follow. Even their installers can't figure it out. They promise to call back and then someone else calls. They call because they are doing collections , but have not sent out the invoice. They are fine until you have a problem!!!!! My previous accounts were under a different family name hey have not bothered to fix this either. They have a totally different address with different account numbers. One of the accounts does not have equipment at it but they do not know who picked it up. Really Really Retarded..

Cancellation policy

I found I didn't use the system as much as I thought I would and decided to cancel. They sent a letter describing how I should send the equipment back prepaid at their expense. Well and good. I did this, tracked the package and saw that it was delivered the next day. Over a week later I was charged for another month of service. When I called to ask why, I was told their cancellation policy was 60 days and there was nothing they would do to refund the payment - even though they had the equipment back. They want your business and don't tell you all the other ways they get your money. Do not do business with this company.

Can you please tell me the address on where to return the equipment? I have been calling and calling and all seem dumb and won't give me the information to where to send equipment back to.

But yet they have had a collection agency send me a letter stating I owe the over $1600.

Can someone please help me. Thanks

I am going to cancel the service this morning, but they asked me to inform my house insurance about the cancellation and they told me they have to see that in the cancellation request email.

I just don't that should be a condition of cancellation because it's something between me and my insurance company...

I had a similar problem with my 90 year old father. Their system doesn't detect a fall so I was advised to get another system by a falls prevention co ordinator for an Ontario agency.

They are charging this 90 year old an extra 2 months and refused to send him any packaging to return the product.

A 90 year old in a wheel chair has certain restrictions! I finally got an address and am returning it for him.

The stress they caused this gentleman was unbelievable.

He was shaking and in tears over the situation. The people on the phone were very rude as well when I tried to phone and resolve the issue.

They demand you send them an e-mail and confirm (what happens if someone doesn't have e-mail is beyond me) which I did. Called them back three weeks later and told them I had not received the box and address sticker. And take a wild guess was their answer?

"Oh we never received your e-mail!" I said fine but you do have my cancellation correct? "Oh yes sir we do, but you have to follow it up with an e-mail.....You can see where this going correct?

"Oh and by the way sir we don't send you a box just a label"......Fine then just send me the *** label! "Oh we will sir as soon as you send the e-mail confirmation."

Alarm force Beware

Alarm Force is a joke also they are so horrible to deal with. They still are charging me for services already cancelled in June 2010. I also had been trying the pay them for equipment not found (Three times they have not taken the payment; also they lost my money order even after it was signed by registered mail.) I had to get a posed box to get them to stop the harassing letters at my home. I went to the better business bureau to get a refund for amount I paid for from June to November (which I was not using the service at all.) My credit has been tainted because of this god *** company. They are still charging me for my cancelled service. DO NOT GIVE anything personal like Credit card numbers or bank information they will still use it to there advantage which is against the Canadian Privacy laws. So take all information off there system so they will not steel your money. Beware of this company. It is great at the beginning but terrible at the end. If it continues I will be putting a legal action on this company.

totally agree with the other comments buyer beware they are a scam we had them for 4 years for 3.5 of those years we got a monthly bill all of a sudden they quit coming never gave it much thought until we receive a call yesterday demanding payment we asked why we never received statements they told us they suddenly didn't have our address they had also told us 5 months ago we couldn't cancel because our contract wasn't up found out it was done a year ago they are crooks buyer beware :(
